Description
The Kingdom of Gwynedd is led by Cadwaladr ap Cadwallon, the famous 'Red Dragon' who boasted that he would kill every Saeson man, woman & child to reclaim the lands lost to the Brythoniaid, & yet he remains an uneasy ally of the Miercna as his father was before him. For Cadwaladr - as Cadwallon did - recognises the limitations of his people, their limited numbers & their reliance upon the ancient pacts with the dragons & their kin, & so he looks elsewhere for the strength to resist the marauding Northumbre to the east, the desperation of the ?rainn to the west & the devastation wrought by the Fomoraic & the Norse beyond them. Other, more ancient pacts with the beasts of the crags & the coast are remembered & the strength of the wolf to the east is sought: for strength is something Cadwaladr knows Gwynedd & indeed all the kingdoms of the Brythoniaid need, no matter where that strength comes from, if they are to survive in this age of darkness.
Cocwocorau are the larger cousins of the Dynwocor, cackling, noisome beasts with a freakish manner & an ear-pearcing shriek & armed with great cleavers & improvised armour. Each Cocwocor will be around 60-70mm to the eye & will stand on an 80mm base. They are Wild monstrous beasts of the Brythoniaid Powys realm & can be fielded in units of 1-3 warriors.
