BOT WAR
Bot War is a 10mm skirmish wargame played on a 3'x3' table. While the scale is 10mm, Bots and other creatures range from 20mm for the smallest Bot to 140mm for the huge combined Bots. The story takes place on an alternate Earth and revolves around two main protagonists: The Democracy, a reflection of 1980s USA, and Atlantica, an underwater kingdom inspired by Atlantis. There are 10 different factions and the game opens after a major, devastating war between The Democracy and Atlantica in which the arrival of Bots saved the Democracy from destruction and slavery. Welcome to Bot War!
VALIANTS
Little is known about the Valiants. Over the last 3 years they have fought at the Democracy's side on more than a few occasions. In a time of total desperation, when the Democracy was being invaded by Atlantica and King Gills, it was only their strategic alliance with the Valiants that turned the tide of the war. Despite this alliance, many in the Democracy still distrust the Valiants, however. Led by General Duke, the Valiants came to be on earth seemingly by accident: when a task force was sent to divert a collision with Earth by a prison sphere loaded with former Valiants, now warped and beyond redemption, something mysterious happened that saw the prison sphere neutralised and both factions arrive on the planet just as King Gills' victorious forces advanced toward the Democracy capital.
ITEM DESCRIPTION
Hardball is a total sports fan. It does not matter what planet, if there is sport, Hardball is happy. A recent member of the Bashers, he joined up for the promise of sport, of which he thinks hunting down rogue Bots is the pinnacle.
Heatsink has a hot temper and a light trigger finger, which is not good news for most Bots including fellow Valiants. For the most part he is tolerated because he is great to have around in a firefight even if he is somewhat uncontrollable. If this bothers Heatsink, he doesnt show it. His approach to battle is that there is no battlefield problem his dual rocket launchers can't solve...
Fourbyfour was one of the Valiants accidentally sucked into the void when the Valiant vessel collided with the Deceiver prison dimension. He landed in the outback of one of the Democracy's ally nations. Fourbyfour helped the southern nation fight back Atlantican special forces from the northernmost part of the country, and once the Atlanticans retreated, he made his way by cargo ship to the Democracy to rejoin the main Valiant forces.
This set comes with enough parts to make Hardball, Heatsink, and Fourbyfour. This is a resin multipart kit. Superglue required for assembly (not included). This set comes with 2 x 40mm amd 1 x 50mm round black plastic bases. Models supplied unassembled and unpainted.
