BOT WAR
Bot War is a 10mm skirmish wargame played on a 3'x3' table. While the scale is 10mm, Bots and other creatures range from 20mm for the smallest Bot to 140mm for the huge combined Bots. The story takes place on an alternate Earth and revolves around two main protagonists: The Democracy, a reflection of 1980s USA, and Atlantica, an underwater kingdom inspired by Atlantis. There are 10 different factions and the game opens after a major, devastating war between The Democracy and Atlantica in which the arrival of Bots saved the Democracy from destruction and slavery. Welcome to Bot War!
DECEIVERS
Like the Valiants, little is known about the Deceivers. It is known that the leader of the Deceivers was once a noble Valiant. At some point in the mists of history this leader and a third of all the Valiants rebelled against the Creator. The resulting war saw the Deceiver leader and his followers warped and changed from the once-noble beings they were. Defeated, the Deceivers were cast from their planet on a prison meant to hurtle through space for eternity. However, something went wrong with the trajectory calculations, and instead of hurtling into the void, the prison was set to impact the third planet from a yellow sun... Earth.
ITEM DESCRIPTION
Ambitious and scheming, Communicator embodies all traits that define Deceivers. He was alongside Galaxy Tyrant during the rebellion and was imprisoned like all Deceivers. However, within the prison his allegiances changed and he now follows Megatyrant. The reason for this realignment is unknown to all but Communicator himself. Communicator forms part of Megatyrant's elite forward shock troops. He has the valuable ability to host smaller Deceivers and deliver those reinforcements to areas of the battlefield that need them most. In addition, Communicator possesses powerful disruptor abilities and can temporarily tap into the code of enemy Bots before their antivirus abilities kick in. Like Electrotyrant, Communicator is building to tyrant status but as yet still lacks the physical strength required. However, it could be that his mental powers are superior enough to make up for this apparent shortfall. Either way, Communicator is a dangerous Deceiver indeed.
Small Deceivers do not normally survive that long and there are many a Swarm in the Queen's hive that used to be small Deceivers. However, some Deceivers are so underhanded and slimey that they not only survive but excel within the Deceiver ranks. Of these, Faultline and Crazy are two of the most double-crossing repulsive individuals you could ever meet. Not a word of truth has ever passed their voice receptors and many a fellow Deceiver has been destroyed at the hands of Megatyrant because of one of their lies. Despite this untrustworthy trait, the two realise they need Communicator or Soniq as their host so are always careful to not get either too far offside. Unusually small Deceivers often have an affinity with Earth's elements. Faultline can connect to the Earth's geological elements and manipulate the vibration patterns of their molecular structures. Crazy can harness electrical fields and focus short bursts of electricity through his shoulder cannon. Thankfully, this connection to the elements is relatively localised because of the Bots' smaller statures. However, both still represent a very real danger to their enemies.
This set comes with enough parts to make Communicator, Faultline, and Crazy. This is a resin multipart kit. Superglue required for assembly (not included). This set comes with 1 x 50mm and 2 x 30mm round black plastic bases. Models supplied unassembled and unpainted.
