BOT WAR

Bot War is a 10mm skirmish wargame played on a 3'x3' table. While the scale is 10mm, Bots and other creatures range from 20mm for the smallest Bot to 140mm for the huge combined Bots. The story takes place on an alternate Earth and revolves around two main protagonists: The Democracy, a reflection of 1980s USA, and Atlantica, an underwater kingdom inspired by Atlantis. There are 10 different factions and the game opens after a major, devastating war between The Democracy and Atlantica in which the arrival of Bots saved the Democracy from destruction and slavery. Welcome to Bot War!

BEASTLORDS

Of all Bots, the Beastlords are the most enigmatic. It is known that in some way they are connected to the Valiants because in times of great Valiant need the Beastlords will emerge from their cavernous homes to lend aid. Beastlords are solitary bots, spending most of their existence in the wilderness. However, sometimes 2 or 3 Beastlords will form an alliance to crush a particularly bothersome pest. Gatherings of more than 3 Beastlords have never been recorded, so it is unknown how many Beastlords there are now lurking in the wild.

ITEM DESCRIPTION

Tyrannous is the most aggressive and martial of the Beastlords. Like all Beastlords, Tyrannous prefers to remain in seclusion, however, woe to any enemy that rouses him. In battle, Tyrannous is a towering engine of destruction, blasting and cleaving tirelessly until no enemy are left to destroy. Most prefer to flee rather than face him in open battle.

Tyrannous has been often sighted near the desert regions of the Democracy so it has been surmised that he has a secret cave dwelling in that area. Indeed during the first Atlantican war Jack Macgyver in Buffalo had found himself outnumbered and outgunned by no less than 15 Atlantican heavy tanks. Destroying 3, Jack was saying his prayers when all of a sudden Tyrannous was there... Obliterating 12 Atlantican heavy tanks, Tyrannous bellowed as the fleeing mermen covered their ears. Without saying a word, Tyrannous strode away leaving Jack and the Buffalo alone on the highway amid a sea of smoking Atlantican wreckage.

Like all Beastlords, Arkynor is strong and powerful, able to smash aside several Bots with a single great swing of his mace. Heavily armoured and sure-footed, Arkynor is a walking unstoppable force, crushing enemy forces in his giant stride. Of the seven known Beastlords, Arkynor has only been seen on one occasion, as he pulverised over 30 Infester swarms led by Roach and Termite as they tried to set up a nest in a giant redwood forest. After the destruction, Arkynor returned back to the forest and has not been seen since.

Dactylous is perhaps the most well-known Beastlord. This has perhaps something to do with the fact that Dactylous is also the least elusive Beastlord. Indeed, as Beastlord personalities go, Dactylous is an extrovert. This basically means you can get more than a single word out of him. This makes him also the most likely to ally with Valiant forces. Of all known Beastlords, Dactylous is also the only one that can fly. He is also the smallest and the least armoured. However, these traits dont make Dactylous any less formidable an enemy. When Beastlords unite and march against a common enemy, Dactylous is the one Bot air support for the small group.
